Ostheimer Wooden Bear Figure

A hand-carved standing bear, about 7 x 15 cm, for small-world play, stories and a growing animal collection. For children 3 and over. Why we chose it: each figure is carved in Germany from European alder and maple hardwood, hand-painted with stains and finished with a castor-oil-based oil. Ostheimer states that all its materials comply with the European toy standard EN 71, and the figures are made to last for years and be handed down. How it fits your day: a quiet, open-ended toy for older siblings' play. It's made for children 3 and over, so keep it out of reach of babies, as our Play and tummy time guide advises for anything not made for under-threes. • Size: about 7 x 15 cm • Material: alder and maple wood, stain, natural oil finish • Made in Germany
