Grimm's Triangle, Square, Circle Building Set, 30 Blocks

Thirty colourful wooden blocks in triangle, square and circle shapes, about 10 cm long, that work as both a building set and a puzzle. For children 3 and over. Why we chose it: the blocks are lime wood coloured with a water-based stain and left unvarnished, so they grip and stack well. Grimm's states its paints and oils meet the EN 71 toy-safety standard. It's an open-ended set that grows with a child, from simple stacking to patterns, towers and shape play. How it fits your day: a calm, open-ended toy for older siblings' floor play. It's made for children 3 and over, so keep it away from babies and young toddlers, as our Play and tummy time guide advises for anything not made for under-threes. • 30 blocks in a carton, with play ideas • Material: lime wood, water-based colour stain • Length: about 10 cm
