Our story

Built for the parents who read every label

If your little one has sensitive or eczema-prone skin, you already know the routine: turn the bottle around, squint at the ingredients, search three forums, and still wonder whether you got it right. Multiply that by clothing seams, laundry liquid, sleep-bag fabric and sunscreen, and choosing for your baby becomes a research job you never applied for.

BabyClof exists to do that research job once, properly, and in public. We assess products against a published rubric β€” the ingredients we rule out, the fibres and materials that qualify, and the published evidence we need before a badge is allowed to appear. Our top β˜… badge also needs a product-level certification we've confirmed in the issuer's registry. Baby products that haven't met that standard aren't listed at all; things made for parents rather than for baby's skin (monitors, safety gear, nappy bags and the like) are marked β€œFor parents” instead of carrying a badge.

The store is also built around one idea we couldn't find anywhere else: it arranges itself around your child. Tell us a due date or a birthday and the whole shop re-orients β€” what's right for right now, what's coming next, and what this season means for sensitive skin in Australia and New Zealand.

Who's behind it

BabyClof is run by a small independent studio (AOWISTUDIO LIMITED, New Zealand) β€” not a warehouse, not a marketplace. Products are sourced from trusted ANZ brands and retailers, and every order is checked and arranged by a person. When you email [email protected], a real parent replies β€” within 24 hours.

Our promises

  • The rubric stays public. You can always check how a badge was earned β€” and, where a certification has a public registry, check it yourself.
  • No medical claims, ever. Nothing here treats or cures eczema; we describe how things are made. Diagnosis and treatment belong with your GP, paediatrician or dermatologist.
  • Curation over catalogue. A short list we can stand behind beats ten thousand things we can't.
