Kuwi & Friends Quilted Play Mat 1 m, Kuwi Baby

A round, quilted play mat, 1 m across, illustrated with Kuwi Baby and friends on the front and a plain teal fabric on the back. It's from Kat Quin, the New Zealand author-illustrator behind the Kuwi the Kiwi books. Why we chose it: the outer fabric on both sides is cotton and the inner wadding is polyester, with both layers named. It's quilted, double-sided and simple, with a big, bright print to look at during tummy time, and it can be machine or hand washed. How it fits your day: lay it on the floor for the 'Clear a floor space' and 'Tummy time' steps of our Play and tummy time guide, and stay with pēpi while they play. • Size: 1 m diameter • Outer: cotton; wadding: polyester • Care: gentle machine or hand wash; line dry in shade
